Mission X

Demonstrating the
future of space superiority.

Following the successful launch and control of Jackal in 2024 for Mission X Flight Test 2, True Anomaly is preparing for its third flight test in 2025 that will push Jackal and Mosaic to their limits, and beyond.

With Mission X, True Anomaly is advancing capabilities that support deterrence and secure space for future generations.

Mission X aims to demonstrate Rendezvous & Proximity Operations (RPO) for advanced non-Earth imaging, test and evaluation, and on-demand training.

The Space Security Challenge

New technology for the new space race.

Space technology is the foundation of the international, rules-based order. Yet a new space race has begun that requires a step change in capability and cost to maintain global security. True Anomaly is meeting the challenge with fast, agile manufacturing, a common operating system, and advanced human-machine teaming.

RPO

Rendezvous & Proximity Operations

To demonstrate a new commercial capability and capture mission data, our Jackal AOVs will conduct RPO: a set of maneuvers in which spacecraft approach and operate near each other. Examples that leverage RPO include in-orbit re-fueling, re-supplying space stations, or inspecting debris or spacecraft. RPO is one of the most challenging space missions to master.

Mosaic

One intelligent
operating system.

Mission X is powered by Mosaic, the first integrated software platform for every aspect of space superiority missions, including Command and Control (C2), battle management, safety of flight, and space domain awareness.

Mission Planner: Plan missions, command spacecraft, and receive telemetry data.

Jackal

Autonomous orbital vehicle (AOV) for any mission.
